Physical Therapist - FS

Job Overview

• Perform various therapeutic physical therapy treatments under minimal direction and according to physician's orders.
• Evaluate patients, formulate and modify treatment plans to achieve long and short-term goals.
• Participate in discharge planning and instruct patients in home programs.
• Document treatment results and patient responses in medical records.
• May supervise and assist students during clinical rotations depending on experience.
• Maintain and clean physical therapy equipment.

• Knowledge & Skills:

  • Principles, methods, practices, techniques, equipment, and procedures used in physical therapy.
  • Anatomy and physiology sufficient to evaluate and treat patients.
  • Ability to adjust equipment to suit patient needs.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to guide patients in their treatment.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)
