Registered Nurse Emergency Department (Emergency Room)

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a 48-treatment space Emergency Department (ED)
Patient ratio approximately 1:5
Experienced ED nurse required, specifically for night shift

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with ED experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS certification
8 hours of Stroke Training
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this assignment
Must maintain all certifications and health requirements throughout the assignment
Stroke training and fit testing are annual requirements
Physical and TB testing must be current and compliant with annual renewal policies

This position is ideal for an experienced Emergency Department RN seeking a night shift role in a busy ED with a 13-week contract.
