Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I (Telemetry/Medsurg Float)

Location: Inglewood, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (Per Diem)
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

• Position: RN Telemetry/Medsurg
• Must be able to float between units and work weekends
• Preference for candidates available full schedule through end of January and first week of February
• Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Start Date: January 17
• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile to be completed within two weeks after start date

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination
• COVID-19 vaccination: 2 vaccines and booster required or declination completed
• Influenza vaccine or declination required (Nov 1, 2025 - Mar 31, 2026)
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• Tdap vaccination or declination form
• TB test within one year of start date
• Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• Physical/Health statement (clear to work) annually required
• Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test (urine excluding THC + psychoactive THC saliva test) within 60 days of start
• National criminal background check within one year of start date
• Driver’s license or State ID or Passport
• Completion of required trainings and exams including:

  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid 2 years)
  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Specialty Exam (submission required)
  • Prime Orientation Packet and Job Description acknowledgment
  • Prime Agency Attestation and SAM/EPLS exclusion search
  • Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Resume and 2 professional references (1 from manager or supervisor) required

Additional Information

• Must be able to work nights and float between telemetry and med-surg units
• Compliance with all required vaccinations, certifications, and screenings is mandatory
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position is suitable for experienced RNs with telemetry and med-surg skills who are flexible with floating and weekend shifts.
