Job Description

• Position in geriatric psychiatric nursing requiring float capability.
• Interview required prior to consideration.
• Must have experience with Epic electronic health records within the past year; please indicate Epic experience and last usage on your resume.
• No block schedule requests accepted.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests limited: no RTO during first two weeks; maximum 7 days allowed overall.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, specifically in geriatric psychiatric (Gero-psych) nursing.
• Psychiatric nursing experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (blue card) required for Behavioral Health RNs.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records within the past year.

Additional Information

• Candidates with more than 7 days of RTO requests will be rejected.
• Travelers continuously on assignment with no breaks are not required to update physicals annually.
• COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged; medical or religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All required documentation and certifications must be current and verifiable prior to start.

This role is ideal for experienced psychiatric RNs with geriatric expertise who are comfortable working in a behavioral health setting and meeting rigorous credentialing and compliance standards.
