Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation
• Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary depending on department needs)
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 150 patients
• Floating: Yes, will float to different departments within the main campus as needed
• On Call: Not required
• First Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiology / Cardiology specialty (Mammography)
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Preferred: ARRT (M) certification preferred

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 6 months of start date (including criminal, SSN trace, nationwide search, sex offender, federal court, and international if applicable)
• Education verification and transcript/diploma for highest medical degree
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 1 year (updated annually)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
• Required immunizations/vaccinations:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer or proof of disease history
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination (mandatory during flu season)
• Drug screening within 1 year (specific drug panel required, excluding marijuana/THC)
• Professional references: 2 required, at least 1 supervisory

Additional Requirements

• Completion of competency exams as required by profession
• Photo for badge (must meet strict photo requirements)
• Acknowledgement and signing of facility-specific policies including code of conduct, job hazard analysis, social media policy, and attendance policy
• Attestation of prior radiation exposure for applicable units
• Fire safety training/course completion within first 6 months of assignment

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Floating to other departments is expected as part of the role.
• On-site orientation and testing may be required.
