Job Details

Position: Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Patient Population & Unit Details

Pediatric patients with cardiac defects (medical and surgical)
Post-operative care after cardiac catheterization and CTICU
Patients with tracheostomies and ventilators
Use of high flow nasal cannula
Management of inotropes
Care for heart and lung transplant patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric patients
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
