Job Opportunity: Hyperbaric Technician
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- No on-call required
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in specialty
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Must work major holidays if they fall within assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
- Full compliance with onboarding and credentialing required to start on time
- Orientation hours vary based on contract length
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Technician
- Wound Care Technician experience within the last year
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check completed within 30 days prior to start
- Education verification or diploma/transcript required
- Annual license verification and competency exams as applicable
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer or declination)
- Tdap (highly recommended)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
- Color blindness test required
- Skills checklist and work history verification required
Additional Notes
- Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Candidate profile review by manager within 48 hours after confirmation
- Maximum 7-day return to office (RTO) policy
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
