Job Description

• On-call availability will be required.
• Local rate applies within 90 miles.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing for competency exams.
• Successful completion of Pass/Fail Testing including EKG and Medication competency exams.
• State License 1 Verification.

• Candidates must meet or exceed all certification and competency requirements prior to or within 30 days of assignment start.
• Some certifications and exams may be unit-specific; verify requirements based on the exact OR unit assignment.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
