Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU (Travel/Contract)

Location

Charleston, South Carolina

Position Details

Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT / Pediatrics)
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float within scope depending on experience; no floating to sister facilities
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Highlights

Teaching hospital with Magnet designation and Level 1 Trauma center
Total staffed beds: 865
Electronic Health Record system: Epic
Parking: Paid parking required nights and weekends; one-time $20 parking pass fee
Hurricane season (June–November) may require emergency response team participation

Required Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapist - NICU with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Recent NICU respiratory therapy experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric, neonate, and infant patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA/AAP)
