Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: El Centro, California
Shift: Night (5x8 hours, 17:00–1:00)
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must be willing to work with X-Ray and CT modalities.
• Standby call required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician.

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech)
• Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Tech positions.
• Prior travel experience: Not required.

Competencies & Testing

• Must pass medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
• Must pass specialty-specific competency exam prior to start; updated annually.

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Social Security card copy if used on I-9.
• Emergency contact form.
• Confidentiality agreement, overtime policy, employee security worksheet, suspected abuse policy, and Omnicell user agreement must be reviewed and signed.
• Physical exam within past 12 months confirming ability to perform job duties.
• Skills checklist specific to unit required.

Additional Notes

• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred prior to start; can be completed onsite if needed.
• Onsite certification renewals for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP available but must be scheduled in advance.
• Hair and facial hair must be well-groomed and confined to comply with infection control and respirator fit requirements.
• New travelers must have valid fit test done by designated provider; extensions may renew fit test onsite if available.
