ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse
• Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 19:00 - 7:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 (primary trauma and stroke unit)
• Float: Every other week and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge RN experience
• Neuro ICU experience

Additional Requirements

• E-Verify/I9 documentation as required
• Education verification and transcript/diploma may be required if accreditation cannot be confirmed
• Background check within 6 months including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, updated annually
• Fingerprinting per Florida AHCA Level II requirements with clearance on file prior to start (renew every 5 years)
