ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job – Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 19:00 - 7:30)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Patient Ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 (primary trauma and stroke unit)
- Float: Every other week and holidays as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge RN experience
- Neuro ICU experience

- Bedside Instrument Cleaning & Transport

Additional Requirements

- Compliance with data security and privacy policies
- Annual skills checklist
- E-Verify/I9 documentation as required
- Education verification and transcript/diploma may be required if accreditation cannot be confirmed
- Background check within 6 months including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, updated annually
- Fingerprinting per Florida AHCA Level II requirements with clearance on file prior to start (renew every 5 years)
