Hours per week: 40 (5 days x 8 hours)
Call Requirement: 2 overnight call shifts every two weeks

Current California state license for X-Ray Tech
CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
ARRT certification preferred
Fluoroscopy certification required
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI)
Additional certifications depending on tech specialty:
- CA Venipuncture Certification (required for CT Techs, MRI Techs, Nuclear Med Techs)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) not required for this role
Other certifications such as PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI, or EFM are not applicable unless specified for other specialties

Specialty experience: Radiology/Cardiology tech experience with inpatient and ED exposure
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) or chest x-ray within 12 months
Tdap vaccination (no declinations accepted)
Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: 2 vaccines or titer with boosters if needed (no declinations accepted)
Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination accepted
COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical or religious exemption is on file
Seasonal flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round
9-panel drug test within 1 year of start date
Proof of N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start (specific approved mask models required)

7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, national criminal, and sex offender searches (no international background required)
HHS/OIG clearance required
Employment application and two satisfactory references required
Skills checklist required
State license primary source verification within 30 days of start (visual verification with signature, initials, date, and title required)
Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreement, standards of conduct acknowledgment, and job description must be completed prior to start
Completion of facility learning modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start, with transcript submission required
Vaccine attestation form must be completed regardless of vaccination status

No scrub color requirement; OR and Labor & Delivery scrubs provided by facility
Experience with EPIC or Cerner electronic medical records preferred; less than 6 months experience may result in cancellation for RNs (not directly applicable but good to note for interdisciplinary teams)
Pyxis acknowledgment required for RNs and Respiratory Care Practitioners, not applicable for this role
Radiation badges supplied only for RNs working in Interventional Radiology or units requiring badge; not required for this tech role

Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Experience in an inpatient setting
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ARRT certification
