Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel/Contract)

Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:30–7:00)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Must have at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Meditech electronic health record experience is required.
• Expected to float to all Medical-Surgical floors.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system.

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific orientation and safety manuals prior to start.
• Must complete HealthStream training modules (2–3 hours) by Friday before Monday start; modules are non-billable orientation time.
• Must review and sign facility commitment to excellence standards, confidentiality, and information security agreements before starting.
• Must provide a clear, passport-style photo for badge issuance.
• Must complete annual TB questionnaire.
• Two professional references within the last 3 years required.
• Employment application and annual skills checklist required.

Notes

• Fit testing and color-blind exam will be completed onsite during orientation.
• Candidate must be prepared to comply with all health and safety documentation and screening requirements prior to start.
