Registered Nurse – PreOp (Travel/Contract)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (4 days/week, 9 hours/day, 36 hours/week)
Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation provided
Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, including experience within the last year
Experience in pre-operative care
Specialty experience in:
- Plastic Surgery
- ENT Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Pain Management
- Urology
- Ophthalmology
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Additional Information

Call-Back & Extended Shifts:
- Call-back pay applies only if called back offsite after shift ends.
- Extended shifts due to census or case overruns are paid at regular or overtime rates; no clocking out/in for extended shifts.
Parking: Parking permits available (~$55/month) or daily parking rates apply.
