Registered Nurse – PreOp (Travel/Contract)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center


Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (4 days/week, 9 hours/day, 36 hours/week)
  • Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation provided
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Nebraska
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in pre-operative care
  • Specialty experience in:
    • Plastic Surgery
    • ENT Surgery
    • Orthopedics
    • Pain Management
    • Urology
    • Ophthalmology
  • Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Additional Information

  • Call-Back & Extended Shifts:
    • Call-back pay applies only if called back offsite after shift ends.
    • Extended shifts due to census or case overruns are paid at regular or overtime rates; no clocking out/in for extended shifts.
  • Parking: Parking permits available (~$55/month) or daily parking rates apply.
