Job Description

• Work in interventional lab and OR setting with the ability to scrub.
• Must be able to work with staff rotation (to be confirmed during interview).
• Scheduled Monday through Friday, no weekends required.
• Interview availability required.
• Target start date: February 9 (flexible for the right candidate).

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or RQI certified, required for all clinical positions.
• CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist).
• ARRT rad fluoro permit (must have at time of application).
• Tech Certification required for all techs:

  • CT Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
  • MRI Tech: CRT & Venipuncture
  • IR Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • Cath Lab Tech/EP Rad Tech: CRT & Fluoro
  • CVT: CVT or RCIS
• State License (California) - Primary source verification required; must be visually verified and signed. Per diem staff must have a CA license (EMSA not accepted).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Not required for OR.
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., NIH Stroke Certification for certain units, CPI for ED travelers).

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology.

Work Environment & Schedule

Facility & System Requirements

• Experience with EPIC or Cerner electronic medical records system preferred; at least 6 months of experience required for RNs (less than 6 months may result in auto-cancel).
• No scrub color requirement; scrubs provided by facility.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start.
• Proof of N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start (facility does not provide onsite testing).
• Tdap vaccine required; no declinations accepted.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months; annual updates required.
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (2 vaccines or titer with boosters if needed). No declinations accepted.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination accepted.
• 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start.
• Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round; masks required for unimmunized personnel during flu season.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical or religious exemption is on file.

Background & Verification

• 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, and national searches.
• HHS/OIG clearance required.
• Transcript/Diploma verification if applicable.
• Two satisfactory references required.
• Employment application and skills checklist required.

Additional Notes

• Candidate must complete facility-specific learning modules (~8 hours) prior to start.
• Must complete and sign facility standards of conduct and confidentiality agreements annually.
• Pyxis acknowledgment required for RNs and RCPs prior to start (not required for non-clinical roles).
• Vaccine attestation form required regardless of vaccination status.
• Physical and health documentation must be uploaded and kept current as per facility policy.
