Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy)

Location: Conway, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Call required one day a week and every 5th weekend
• Typically managing 3 rooms daily with about 28-35 cases per day

Licensure & Certifications Required

• South Carolina nursing license (SC license)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required for all clinical travelers
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for Telemetry, Endoscopy & Cath Lab Techs
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as applicable
• State License Primary Source Verification required
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy department
• Manage multiple procedure rooms and patient cases daily

• Background Check: 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
• Education Verification (transcript/diploma acceptable)
• Physical Exam within 12 months stating candidate is free to work without restrictions
• Fit Mask test within 3 months of start (specific mask types accepted)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
• Drug Testing: 9 or 15 panel drug screen within required timeframes
• Flu Vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season (9/1 - 3/31)
• COVID vaccination preferred but not required

• Completion of facility-specific onboarding forms and online orientation modules prior to start
• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable and updated annually
