Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to work in a fast-paced emergency room environment at a Level I trauma center with Stroke Accreditation. The role involves performing CT scans on various body parts and supporting patient care in a high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
- Operate CT equipment ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Support patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Works every third weekend
- Call once every 6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience (highest required experience confirmed).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certifications required.
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred.
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Certifications & Compliance Requirements
- BLS and ARRT certifications mandatory.
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred.
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, FBI/BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific), and ongoing monthly monitoring.
- State license verification required within 30 days of start.
- Annual review and acknowledgment of facility policies including dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance.
- Physical exam documentation within 1 year of start confirming good health and freedom from contagious disease.
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tdap vaccine (adult dose)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed).
- Completion of Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate prior to start and annually thereafter.
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership.
- Skills checklist and employment application required.
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting and background check requirements specific to Ohio.
- Orientation and competency exams as required by the facility.
