Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Contract Length: 26 weeks (flexible, can request 14-26 weeks)
Shift: 3x12 hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Unit: To be determined by facility need after clinical evaluation


Job Details

  • Position: PCU RN (Progressive Care Unit)
  • Patient Ratio: Currently 1:5, goal is 1:4
  • Floating: All travelers expected to float as needed within their acuity
  • Start Date: Flexible
  • EPIC experience required

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI, etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse

  • Completion of new hire paperwork and compliance checklists
  • Orientation manual review (not required for inpatient RNs)
