Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Santa Barbara, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

- Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient, Interventional Radiology
- Unit Systems: EPIC
- Call Requirement: Yes (Must live within 25 minutes of facility and have a car)
- Float Requirement: Yes
- Must scrub neuro consistently
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- California State Fluoroscopy Permit (MUST HAVE FLOURO PERMIT)
Preferred Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- ARRT Advanced
- NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required (1st time travelers are acceptable)
- Experience with Fluoroscopy equipment required
- Experience with EPIC system required
Additional Requirements
- Must live within 25 minutes of the facility and have reliable transportation
- All Return to Office (RTO) documentation must be submitted with initial application
- Prior travel experience not required

- Candidate must be able to scrub neuro cases consistently
Compliance and Documentation (Summary)
- Background checks covering last 7 years of residence and work
- Drug screening (10 panel including marijuana) within 30 days of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Physical exam within last 12 months
- Fit mask test (N95) provided onsite if needed
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Sept - April)
- Photo for badge (shoulders up, plain background, no filters)
- Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgements required prior to start
