Job Opportunity: Tele Float Registered Nurse

Location: Leominster, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float pool position; must be willing to float to different units as needed.
• Flexibility required to adjust shift start time by up to 4 hours before or after scheduled time based on unit needs.
• Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• License: Massachusetts RN license in hand required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Additional Requirements

• Valid state ID or driver’s license.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and other standard screenings.
• Health documents including:

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start, with fitness to work statement.
  • Immunizations or declinations for TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and others as required.
  • Drug testing within 30 days of start.
• Pass medication and telemetry competency exams (minimum 80% on first attempt).
• References: 2 within the last 3 years.
• Employment application covering 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Skills checklist updated annually as applicable.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Must be flexible with floating and shift times.
• Telemetry experience is essential.

This position is ideal for experienced telemetry RNs who are adaptable and comfortable working varied shifts in a float pool setting.
