Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN - Travel/Contract

Location: Culver City, California
Facility Type: Outpatient Clinic

Schedule

• Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays
• Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid California LVN License
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Flu vaccination (no exemptions or declinations accepted)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room
• Minimum 2 years overall outpatient experience
• Phlebotomy and IV certification
• Previous charge/lead experience
• Experience with CS Link/Epic electronic health record systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Additional Requirements

• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Locals accepted within a 50-minute commute
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• No requests for return to office (RTO) in the first 2 weeks of assignment

Job Duties

• Perform shift lead duties
• Perform and record quality control testing on designated equipment
• Schedule nurse visits for phlebotomy, testing, or other procedures
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications
• Draw and prepare lab specimens for pickup
• Handle clinic care telephone interactions with provider input
• Cover Medical Assistant duties during absences, illnesses, and breaks

Certifications & Compliance

• Must maintain current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM may be required depending on assignment
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification required
• Drug screening within 1 year of start date required (excluding Marijuana/THC)
• Fit mask test within 12 months required (N95 or equivalent)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year required
• Annual flu vaccination required during flu season (no declinations accepted)
• Must provide proof of highest medical degree (diploma or transcript)
• Two professional references required, including one supervisory reference

Health & Safety

• Flu vaccination mandatory with no exemptions or declinations
• Fit test for approved respirators required annually
• Drug testing panel excludes Marijuana/THC
• TB screening and questionnaire required, with additional requirements if history of positive TB

This position is ideal for experienced LVNs/LPNs with outpatient and urgent care or ER experience who are comfortable with rotating schedules and weekend/holiday shifts. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
