Job Description

• Work as an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech in the Cath Lab.
• No call or late coverage for procedures, but shifts may extend past 5:30 PM.
• Must be able to work at the assigned location for the full contract term.
• Ability to work the majority of the assigned shift hours.
• Must be able to take call, work assigned weekends, and work at least 50% of holidays during the contract.
• 2 years of specialty experience required. First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
• Prior travel experience not required.

Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC Provider card required for Cath Lab staff.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC Provider card required for all RNs and applicable techs.
• State License: Missouri state license verification required within 60 days of start (as applicable).
• Other certifications may apply depending on specific role and patient population; verify with recruiter if unsure.

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 60 days of start, including alias search, criminal, sex offender, social security trace, and international checks if applicable.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG exclusions checks required within 60 days of start.
• Education verification as applicable to specialty.
• Missouri Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) or Caregiver Background Screening required and must be on file within 60 days of start.
• Drug screening: Negative 7-panel drug test required within 60 days of start.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, initiated within 48 hours of signing.
• Fit mask test valid within 1 year (not required for some tech roles).
• Immunizations/vaccinations required or proof of immunity:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years) or approved exemption.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 MMR vaccines required.
  • Hepatitis B series or positive titer required; declinations not accepted for new candidates after 7/1/2023.
  • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required.
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31).

Documentation & Other Requirements

• Resume with at least 7 years of employment history, no gaps over 30 days, including education details.
• Two professional references within the last 2 years required (for non-clinical roles).
• Photo for badge (new candidates only).
• Completion of facility-specific forms including confidentiality agreements, employment eligibility, and new hire packets within 60 days of start.

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work assigned shifts including weekends, holidays, and take call as required.
• No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Compliance with all background, health, and certification requirements is mandatory for onboarding and continued employment.
