Travel/Contract RN assignment in Lubbock, Texas
16-week contract
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
36 hours per week
Peds RN role
Starts in December
First-time travelers are accepted

Children’s Hospital
Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
181 total staff beds

Schedule / Work Conditions

May float between units
On-call required based on unit census
Weekends required: 5 shifts in a 6-week period
Block schedules are not required
48 hours are not approved
Expected ratio: 1:3–5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NURSYS verification required for all RNs
BLS
PALS
Pediatric Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
Pediatrics experience

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric experience
