Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: 4x10s, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday with one day off
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Floating: Mandatory floating within scope as needed
Local candidates: Accepted; locals preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Endoscopy (3 years of experience)
Endoscopy experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience administering and recovering patients from moderate sedation
Experience in pre-op admission
Skilled at inserting peripheral IV

Relevant Skills

Experience administering and recovering patients from moderate sedation
Experience in both recovery and pre-op admission
Skilled at inserting peripheral IVs

Schedule Notes

No block scheduling
No call requirement
No weekend requirement
No holiday RTO
No RTO the day before or after a holiday
No RTO on weekends
Maximum RTO: 5 days, with no more than 2 consecutive days
