Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Fayetteville, North Carolina
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Patient ratio: 1:5–6
Floating required within scope to like units
Every other weekend required
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
Pending license not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Military
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Military
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

Must be able to complete facility pass/fail testing and competency requirements
Background check required within 6 months of start
Education verification required
Physical exam required within 1 year and updated annually
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
Drug screen: negative 10-panel within 30 days
Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
Tdap within the last 10 years
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
Hepatitis B vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination accepted
COVID-19 vaccination not required

Return-to-Work Restrictions

Must be away for 1 year before returning as a traveler
Maximum of 2 contracts total, with only 1 extension allowed; then must be away for 6 months before returning
