Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 11/16
- Day shift, 3x12s, 7:00–19:30
- 1:4 ratio
- 13-week contract
- First-timers accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Locals accepted
- Call is optional
- RTO limit: 1 week max
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Chemotherapy administration, monitoring, and precautions
- Port access
- IV start
- CVC maintenance
- PCA management
- Telemetry monitoring
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- MS RN experience with outpatient oncology experience
Clinical Details
- Unit focus includes lymphoma, solid tumor, and sarcoma
- Chemo administration, monitoring, and precautions
- Port access
- IV starts
- CVC maintenance
- May need to transport own patient to procedures/testing
- PCA
- Lift equipment
- X3 for tele monitoring
Floating
- May float to all MedSurg units
- Does not float to sister hospitals

- Magnet, teaching center, Level 4 trauma

- Scrubs provided for OR personnel
- Monthly parking cost: $85.15
