Telemetry

Overview

Travel/contract role in Worcester, Massachusetts.
13-week assignment.
48 hours per week.
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM start.
Weekend requirement: every other weekend / every other holiday.
Supports surge/overflow patients.
Some floating may be required within the ED to care for boarder patients.
Accepts first-time travelers.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Must pass a medication exam at in-person orientation; only one attempt is allowed, and failure cancels the contract.
Must be aware of the pass/fail exam requirement at orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS.
Chest tubes experience.
Spinal precautions experience.
PCA pumps experience.
Epidural experience.

Additional Details

Charting system: Epic.
Study materials are provided for the orientation exam.
One of the three major upcoming holidays may be requested off.
