Operating Room

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio.
• Day/evening rotating schedule with call as needed and weekend as needed.
• Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts; schedule varies based on unit need.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience).
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulate and scrub experience.
• Experience rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci).
• Oncology experience.

• Emergency Contact Form.
• Background check, including Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting.
• Pending background check attestation if starting with fingerprint results pending.
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement.
• Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate.
• Ethics and compliance policies acknowledgement.
• Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting form.
• Employment application.
• Skills checklist.
• 2 professional references.
• Drug screen within 3 months of start.
• Physical exam.
• Fit mask.
• Tdap.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• MMR immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
• Hepatitis B immunity or declination.
• Varicella immunity.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination.
• COVID vaccination is recommended but not required.
