• Setting: Outpatient (high pace)
• Experience:

  • Prefer 1 year outpatient experience (other settings considered)
  • New grads and therapists new to outpatient welcome
  • Experienced therapists also encouraged to apply
• Licensing: Accepts pending California license
• CPR: Required
• Schedule Options:

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (Tues-Fri)
• Patient Caseload:

  • 14-16 patients on an 8-hour day
  • 16-20 patients on a 10-hour day
• Charting System: Office Ally
• Work Environment: Private treatment rooms for all patients
• Patient Population:

  • Post-op patients
  • Non-surgical patients
  • Airforce Tricare patients
  • Vestibular rehab patients
  • Pelvic floor rehab (pelvic floor therapist is a plus)

Required Certifications & Documents

• CPR certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required, preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• Valid State License (primary source online verification)
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year search (SS Trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM (annual)
  • HHS/OIG (annual)
• Competency exams as applicable by profession
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific guidelines for past positive PPD)
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
• Drug testing: 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID-19 vaccination not required

Additional Requirements

• Emergency Contact Form required prior to start
• 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care positions (within 3 years)
• Skills checklist required annually
