Travel/Contract role in Roanoke, Virginia
Day shift: 4x10s, 11:00-21:00
Call rotation, occasional weekends and holidays
First-time travelers accepted
No locals accepted
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Virginia
Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NBSTSA or NCCT
Experience working with Orthopedics patients
Experience working with Neuro patients
Experience with complex general surgery
Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures
Experience with neurosurgery

Preferred

Big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience
Robotic trained

Unit Details

Level I trauma OR with 25 OR suites
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics
Services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC

Additional Notes

Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
