Job Opportunity: Technologist (Permanent)

Location: East Bay / San Francisco, California

Role Overview

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment.
Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images as ordered by physicians.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to perform exams.
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
Maintain regular communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in good working order.

Certifications & Licensure

Must maintain ARRT Certification.
Must hold a valid California state license (limited licenses not accepted).
Valid driver’s license in California, in good standing, required at all times.

Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination required, or proper exemption documentation must be submitted.
Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily, with assistance from ramps and pulleys.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a variety of patients in different settings.
