Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)

Job Description

• Position requires working night shifts in the Emergency Room (ER).
• Block scheduling is not available.
• 48-hour guaranteed time is not available.
• Must include Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License with application.
• Candidates must provide at least two specific interview dates/times; "anytime" is not accepted.
• Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted upfront; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Facility will not approve scheduling requests after submission or after offer; all scheduling requests must be made at time of application.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable dress code.
• Orientation is 8 hours, non-billable.
• Holiday and overtime multipliers apply.
• Candidate must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department (ED) experience required.

Certifications (Must be current and uploaded with profile)

• Massachusetts RN License (active)
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion (strongly required)

Skills and Documentation

• Emergency Room skills checklist, current within 1 year (required)
• Supervisory skills checklist, current within 1 year (required)

Preferences

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system is strongly preferred.

Additional Notes

• All certifications must be in hand at profile upload; the facility will not pend certifications.
• Permanent address must be included in the profile.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
