Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Echo)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position for a cardiovascular sonographer with vascular experience.
• The traveler will be part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing professional and clinical knowledge in patient care.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Orientation sessions available regularly (dates provided but not listed here).

Requirements

• Specialty: Sonographer (Echo) with vascular experience.
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous experience required.
• Certifications:

  • ARDMS
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
  • CCI - RCIS
  • RDCS
• Licensing:

  • Iowa state license required; Compact license allowed.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior travel experience: Not required; first-time travelers are welcome.

Additional Information

• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Billable overtime hours defined (36-40 hrs/week with OT after 40 hrs).
• Charge/precept pay available.
