Respiratory Therapist (Temp)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care within your discipline. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

Workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours
Orientation: Weekly, every Monday
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
Note: Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) at time of submission
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Valid Driver’s License
Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist / RRT discipline
Work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of current Respiratory Therapist experience

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted
Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months are preferred
May be required to float within the discipline across local campuses
