Overview

Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Contract length: 12 weeks
Shift: 06:45 - 19:15

Role Summary

Provides rapid nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, including triage, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and ongoing evaluation for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIH Certification
Ascension MOAB
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification may be preferred or required
Previous emergency department, critical care, or acute-care nursing experience preferred

Onboarding / Compliance Items

BLS, PALS, and ACLS must be AHA
Badge photo required
Driver’s license or state ID required and must not be expired
Health documentation required, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Health Statement, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, and Fit Test
Criminal background check, EPLS, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen required
Additional onboarding modules and competency items include Core Competencies, EKG Exam, NIH Certification, Cerner Test-Out, Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding, and Education Attestation
