Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience

Role Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
Monitor and assess critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment
Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
Document patient status, treatments, and nursing interventions accurately
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals on care plans
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
Follow infection control protocols
Participate in continuing education and training
