Job Opportunity: Cardiovascular/EP Technologist (Cath Lab Technician)

Job Description

• Must have Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• 40 hours per week
• No call required
• No weekend shifts
• Holiday availability required if holiday falls on a regularly scheduled shift

Required Credentials

• RCES or RCIS certification
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment
• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) completed within one year and updated yearly
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation
• Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit Test (required for all travelers, preferred prior to start)
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
• Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must not be expired and meet address requirements)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA test within required timeframes
• Documented proof of Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
• Professional references (at least two) completed prior to first assignment
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others completed within 30 days prior to first assignment and updated annually
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment documentation
• Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
