Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician (Travel)
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description
- Shift start time varies between 7:00-8:00 AM
- Shift end time varies between 3:30-4:30 PM
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Provide quality images for radiologists and physicians to interpret
Required Credentials and Compliance
Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
- Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Driver's License/State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)
Professional Requirements
- Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year and updated yearly, minimum 80% score)
- Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation
- Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile)
- At least two professional references prior to first assignment
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others (completed within 30 days of first assignment, updated annually)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start
- Skills Checklist for specialty (completed within one year of start, updated annually)
- Education Verification relevant to clinical work (within 90 days of start)
- Confirmation of Assignment documentation on agency letterhead
- Employment Verification for the past seven years (third-party verification required)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Fit Test (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite; updated annually)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine for flu season (October 1 through March 31; exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and TB questionnaire (updated annually)
- Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA test within required timeframes
- Varicella immunity documentation or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- 12 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually (includes amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, PCP, methamphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, methadone, oxycodone, morphine, ecstasy)
Additional Notes
- Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form completed onsite by facility
- TB Questionnaire and related documentation must be uploaded together
- All documentation must be current and compliant with facility and agency requirements
