Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician (Travel)

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description

• Shift start time varies between 7:00-8:00 AM
• Shift end time varies between 3:30-4:30 PM
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
• Provide quality images for radiologists and physicians to interpret

Required Credentials and Compliance

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Driver's License/State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)

Professional Requirements

• Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year and updated yearly, minimum 80% score)
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation
• Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile)
• At least two professional references prior to first assignment
• Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others (completed within 30 days of first assignment, updated annually)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start
• Skills Checklist for specialty (completed within one year of start, updated annually)
• Education Verification relevant to clinical work (within 90 days of start)
• Confirmation of Assignment documentation on agency letterhead
• Employment Verification for the past seven years (third-party verification required)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit Test (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite; updated annually)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Influenza vaccine for flu season (October 1 through March 31; exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and TB questionnaire (updated annually)
• Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA test within required timeframes
• Varicella immunity documentation or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• 12 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually (includes amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, PCP, methamphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, methadone, oxycodone, morphine, ecstasy)

Additional Notes

• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form completed onsite by facility
• TB Questionnaire and related documentation must be uploaded together
• All documentation must be current and compliant with facility and agency requirements
