Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Overview

• Location: Newton, Massachusetts
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift: Eve/Night rotator

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Resume
• 2 references within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• License or certification verification
• Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date, with updates upon expiration
• MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
• NURSYS and BON verification are required for nursing licenses
• Self-study orientation and attestation
• Medication exam with a passing score of 80% within 365 days
• Fit test for N95 within 365 days of start date, with annual updates
• Respirator medical clearance attestation, if fit test is required for the role
• MMR documentation or proof of immunity
• TB screening documentation within 3 months of start date
• Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background check
• Massachusetts CORI check
• Education verification
• SSN trace
• National sex offender check
• Exclusion checks
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form
• Beeline attestation
