Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist
Location

- Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Work Schedule
- Day shift, either:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- License: MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of prior travel experience required
- Must provide documentation of professional license verification (primary source), no conditional licenses accepted
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Two doses each of measles and mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine, or two MMR vaccines
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), with updates if there is a break longer than 6 months
- Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background checks including:
- National and state (Massachusetts) criminal history and sex offender registry checks within 30-45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
- Exclusion checks against federal and state databases within 30 days of start and annually
- Submission requirements prior to onboarding:
- Resume covering past 7 years of work experience with city and state details
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- Candidate submission coversheet
- Additional verifications:
- Education verification of highest degree or certification
- Social Security Number trace covering last 7 years of residences, employment, and schooling
- Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential or profile names
Additional Notes
- Positive TB test requires a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
- Background checks and verifications must be updated if there is a break in assignment longer than 6 months
- Compliance with all health and professional credentialing requirements is mandatory before start date
