Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role Overview

• 13-week LTA assignment in Newton, Massachusetts
• 40-hour nights schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:15 p.m.–7:15 a.m.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• MGB Resume
• MGB References: 2 references within 4 years of submission, with at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
• N95 fit test within 365 days of start date and updated annually; no onsite fit testing, and no religious or medical exemptions
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation, if fit test is required for the skill
• MGB Medication Exam: 80% passing within 365 days
• MMR documentation or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine
• TB test documentation or negative QuantiFERON TB Test / T-spot within 3 months of start date
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA
• Criminal background check
• Massachusetts CORI
• Education verification
• SSN trace
• National Sex Offender Check
