Radiology Technician - Variable Shift

Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Shifts alternate every other week:

  • Week 1: Monday & Tuesday 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Week 2: Monday & Tuesday 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM, Sunday 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Holidays scheduled as per shift rotation
• On-call: No
• Weekend work required

Required Certifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be active at start date (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)

Required Health and Compliance

• MMR: Proof of vaccination or positive titer
• Influenza Vaccine: Required November 1 through April 30 (no declinations accepted; medical/religious exemptions allowed with approval)
• TB Test: Negative T-spot or QuantiFERON within last 6 months OR two negative skin tests within last 6 months (2-step test requirements apply). If positive, chest X-ray and TB screening questionnaire required.
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or positive titer (history alone not accepted)
• Fit for Duty Health Statement: Completed within 1 year of start date
• Drug Screen: Results within 90 days prior to start accepted

Required Documentation and Verification

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Social Security Card
• Professional References: Minimum of 2 professional references from managers, supervisors, or charge roles (attestations not accepted)
• Criminal Background Check: 7-year national check including all aliases, sex offender database, FACIS Level 3; no pending counties; results within 90 days prior to start
• Education Verification: Third-party verification or diploma (attestations not accepted)
• Employment Verification: Previous 2 years verified by third party or agency (attestations not accepted)
• OIG, OFAC, National Sex Offender Searches: Results within 90 days prior to start
• Completed I-9 form
• Emergency Contact Form
• Signed Healthcare System Agreement (to ensure system access)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician
• Radiology Technician experience within the last year
