Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Temp – Myrtle Beach, SC

Job Summary

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare, and other facilities using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Perform exams ordered by physicians, obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent images, and transmit results to Radiologists and Cardiologists as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process portable X-Ray exams and transmit images for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists.
  • Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment.
  • Handle physical demands including pushing/pulling equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily, using ramps and pulleys to assist.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Active ARRT certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as uniform
  • Ability to work day shifts
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of the role

Contract Length

  • Approximately 13 weeks.

  • Mobile work providing diagnostic services at various post-acute care and other healthcare facilities.
  • Fast-paced, autonomous role with a variety of patients and supportive team environment.
