Operating Room RN

Role Overview

  • Operating Room RN
  • Travel/Contract assignment in Polson, Montana
  • 13-week contract
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
  • 40 hours per week

Unit / Setting

  • 2 room OR
  • Includes Pre/Post op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo
  • Specialties include OBGYN, Ortho, GI/GS, ENT, Pain, and Dental

Schedule / Staffing Details

  • Floats between units
  • On-call required: variable call on weekends and nights, 8 shifts per month
  • Weekends required: every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time off requests
  • 48 hours not approved
  • Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:4

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Montana
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • NURSYS verification required for all RNs
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC

Additional Notes

  • Epic is the EMR
