Mammography Tech

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Fairfax, Virginia
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30–16:00
• 40 hours per week
• Locals welcome at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of Mammography Tech experience
• Virginia license not required in hand, but must obtain
• BLS required as applicable; must be AHA
• National certification/verification required within 30 days of start, as applicable by profession
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 15 mammography-specific CEUs within the last 3 years
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 200 mammograms performed within the last 24 months
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of initial training showing 40 hours of mammography-specific training and 25 supervised exams
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 8 hours of digital training
• Mammography Techs must have evidence of 8 hours of 3D/tomo training

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify required
• Background check required, including a 7-year criminal check and verification of all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start and monthly thereafter
• HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start and monthly thereafter
• Education verification required for all positions
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Work history verification must verify last position worked only
• Skills checklist required for applicable unit and must be updated annually
