Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Rockville Centre, New York
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• COVID vaccination documentation, if the candidate has received it

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• Driver’s license or state ID with address and clear picture
• 7-year background check completed within 30 days of start and updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days prior to start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days prior to start
• Transcript or diploma, or education verification
• New York State Medicaid Exclusion List documentation
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam with minimum score of 80%
• Facility-specific AUP form
• Facility-specific physical form completed by a physician within 30 days of start
• Physical exam must be initiated within 24–48 hours of offer acceptance and completed within 30 days prior to start
• Fit test completed within 12 months of start using Halyard Fluidshield N95 or 3M 1860
• Negative TB proof or chest X-ray completed within 1 year of start
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B antibody and antigen results
• Standard 9-panel drug screen
• Flu vaccination or documentation for the 2026–27 season, with declinations allowed case by case
