Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Medical Surgical (Med Surg) – Night shift
- Shift Hours: 18:30 to 07:00 (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; option for 36 or 48 hours)
- Patient Population: Stroke patients and surgery patients
- Float required within unit
- Weekend shifts as needed
- Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7 (no need to interpret dysrhythmias)
- Unit welcomes first-time travel nurses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Scrub color: Any color, no logos
- Clear headshot photo required for badge
- Fingerprint consent form must be signed prior to start (New Mexico only)
- Employee vehicle registration form must be completed prior to start
- Orientation and EPIC training attendance allowed pending fingerprint clearance, but no unit work until clearance received
Notes for Candidates
- This position is suitable for nurses new to travel assignments.
- Candidates must be prepared for night shifts and floating within the unit.
- Compliance with all health, background, and competency requirements is mandatory for onboarding and continued employment.
