Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Franklin, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Day shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
- Call required (details to be discussed with director)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC or AHA Instructor or Provider; online courses not accepted)
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- E-Verify compliance required
- Criminal background check within 60 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years (instant searches not accepted)
- SAM (System for Award Management) check within 30 days of start
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) check within 30 days of start
- Education verification
- Primary source verification of state license prior to start
- Nursys verification (if applicable)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test (QGOLD or 2-step PPD within 60 days of start; T-spot not accepted), updated annually
- Immunizations or titers for:
- Measles (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Mumps (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (series, titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- Negative drug screen within 60 days of start (includes marijuana, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, and others)
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years of start
- Employment application and skills checklist required
Additional Notes
- Fit testing will be completed onsite during orientation
- Orientation includes review of lunch and break policy
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests may be required as applicable
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training may be required depending on assignment areas
This position is ideal for a Cath Lab Tech with solid experience and certifications, ready for a travel contract with weekday day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
