Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float (Travel/Contract)
Location: Newport News, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Job Description
- Float pool position covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Locals allowed at the same rate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
- Telemetry experience within the last year, with a minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience
- Specialty: Registered Nurse.
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; follow agency standards for float pool RN roles.

Background and Screening Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually. Must include all locations lived/worked in past 7 years.

- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer.

- Seasonal Flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31) with strict deadlines; medical or religious exemptions accepted with approval.
- COVID vaccine series preferred; declination form accepted if no vaccine records.

- Confidentiality agreement, scrub color policy, safety brochure, dress code policy, drug-free policy, and hand washing hygiene policy must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
