Job Opportunity: Clinical Education Specialist

Location: Castro Valley, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Support clinical and operational leadership in monitoring and evaluating outcomes management, performance improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and coordinate components of the Clinical Effectiveness and Performance Improvement Program.
Facilitate clinical improvement activities using performance improvement methodologies.
Serve as a resource to assist and train others on performance improvement methodologies and evidence-based patient safety and quality initiatives.
Provide management, physicians, and clinical staff with accurate and timely information for effective decision making using decision support systems.

Work Schedule

Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday (5x8 hours)
Hours per day: 8 (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 1 year of educator experience, with educator experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
